Mexican Car Insurance. I am renting a vehicle in Cancun for a week.?
I dont want to purchase the insurance from the rental company. Can I get it from one more agency like they offer in San Diego?

Mexican automobile insurance coverage does spend, I know because I dwell in Mexico and employed to have. If you rent from an international organization such as Hertz, and you have other insurance that you do not have to purchase their insurance coverage, but if there is a dilemma, you have to deal with Mexican insurance coverage organization, and so forth., and if you are on holiday, it is not really worth the difficulty.

You need to buy the Mexican insurance especially the liability part. If you are in a accident in Mexico, the police can hold you until it’s confirmed you do in deed have insurance and who was at fault. Don’t mess around for 25/50 dollars. If you are at fault, the driver of the other car can demand payment right there. Cover yourself buy Mexican insurance.
