The ZDX is a crossover. I’ve tried out the ZDX and it is nice, more room than I previously thought in the back seat/ trunk. This vehicle, especially fully loaded, is quite pricey. The Honda Accord Crosstour is the same vehicle, but not as luxurious.
It’s a new catagory invented by Honda.

Infiniti created it first with the fx
then bmw with x6 and 5 gran turismo
maybe pontiac aztec a long time go also
honda created zdx as a more expensive luxury version
of the accord cross tour
pros–
all wheel drive
full glass roof
nice interior
powerful yet fuel efficient engine
20′ in. rims
cons–
ugly grill
decreased rear view from odd shape
not good for tall people
only 5 seats
i would go for mdx instead
but that huge glass roof might change your mind
it is a cross over. sat in one the other day at the dealership. it is built on the MDX platform. but feels like a glorified station wagon. the back seat is very short and not really meant for people who are taller.
being a sedan type person, i would be more apt to buy the ZDX than the MDX. it is more car like than truck and/or SUV.
i do think it is very expensive for what you get. it is more like the car is built for the station wagon type folks than people who want trucks.
