Have you ever bought meat off a truck that sales from door to door? Is is safe to eat this meat?
A couple was going around town selling frozen meat. It was vacumn sealed and looked good. Is it safe?

compared to buying from these trucks, but one day I gave up and the bought it. I was not with the taste of the meat at all .=)

I would not trust … although it seems pretty, you do not know what to be – maybe they are slaughtered and made a really bad, so that pet hair behind. Maybe when they were packing it they do not wash their hands properly or gloves. This may be from animals that were found dead because they were riddled with parasites. Better safe than sorry …

I would not buy anything that critical to my health from anyone with no incentive to avoid a lawsuit.
Like mom used to say when I was a toddler, “Don’t put that in your mouth. You don’t know where it’s been.”
Check if they have an up to date food vendor’s license, if so it should be safe. Also, make sure the stuff it fully frozen when you get it. And ask where they get it from. If they can’t give you a supplier, or are vague, don’t buy it.
I know several people that have bought meat from these trucks and no body complained about the quality or safety of the product. You just have to make sure you don’t pay too much. They always have a couple of really good deals, but the rest is a bit over priced to make up for it, so watch the up sell.
