And finally the last two contestants sing the song we are the champions and I guess the crowd is impatient to know who the winner is. The silence is broken when it is announced the Kris Allen is the winner of the 8th edition of the American idol.

Though many are stunned reality television says it all. Congrats to Kris Allen on being crowned the winner of the 8th edition of the American idol.
